KATON®5000 SERIES O-RINGS
Temperature Range: -5°C to +200°C.
Features: The KATON® VITON® ETP Series O-rings are made from peroxide-cured elastomers, with the main difference from the AFLAS® Series being that the KATON® VITON® ETP Series uses the protective monomer "E". While it provides chemical resistance slightly lower than FFKM (around 85%), it is far more cost-effective. For demanding environments where full perfluoroelastomer performance is not required, the KATON® VITON® ETP Series offers the best cost-effective solution. KATON® FEPM-E O-rings provide robust chemical resistance and are considered an economical alternative to FFKM perfluoroelastomers in applications where temperatures are below 204°C.
KATON® FEPM-E is a high-quality peroxide-cured fluoroelastomer with the broadest fluid resistance among all FKM elastomers. It withstands exposure to aliphatic/aromatic hydrocarbons, polar fluids, hydraulic oils, fuels/alcohols, strong bases, organic amines, and high-pH fluids. |
